If you're using Windows XP or earlier, these icons will NOT work, these icons are using the new icon-functions implemented in Windows Vista, which can have icon with higher dimensions than 32x32.

DESCRIPTION

IMPORTANT UPDATE!
To download multiple icons at a time, middle click or ctrl+click on the name of each icon you want to download. You can also download zip-package with multiple icons at once. There are no secret or bonus icons in the zip packages and all are available as single download too.

All icons and zip-files are placed on Dropbox's server which will give you a two-click download (outgoing links dA-security)
You can download these program icon files as windows .ico files, with full support from Windows Vista and newer.
All preview images are placed on Imageshack's server which will give you a two-click preview (outgoing links dA-security). I will change this and place all preview images on DeviantArt's server instead which will give you a single-click preview instead (no outgoing link, no dA-security).

To view an icon before downloading it, click on [view] at the far right on each icon you want to view.

These icons were first meant to be used on my computer only, then I shared them here on DeviantArt. People started asking for more icons, so I made even more icons. If you have some suggestions, programs and ponies, please ask. I do this on my free time, and don't get paid for it, so if I can't or won't do it, then I don't do it. It is nice to see these small cute little ponies on your desktop or taskbar.
If something actually happens when using these icons, which won't happen, I'm not responsible for that and won't pay you for the damages. You take the responsibility and the risk by downloading these. These icons will not make your computer explode or anything, these are just images, and haven't done anything yet and will not do anything dangerous. But if something actually do happen, don't blame me. And I hope I haven't scared anyone?

EXTRA NOTES

Windows Vista and later have a maximal dimension of 256x256 on icon-files, in lossless PNG-compression.
Because of this, Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products icons may appear blurry, this is because the preview is in 512x512, but the actual Windows icon has a maximal dimension of 256x256 and won't appear blurry.
The Facebook preview is smaller than the others, this is because I lost the source-file, but extracted the image from the Windows icon, which only has a maximum dimension of 256x256.

HOW TO INSTALL

Before using these icons
Put all icons you're going to use in a folder that is easy to find and where these icons can stay. You can, for instance, create a "icon" folder in "Pictures" where you place all these icons. A icon to a shortcut is only linked and if you move a icon from it's place, each shortcut that uses this icon must be re-linked.

Windows XP or earlier
There is a chance that these icons won't work as expected on these systems. In Vista, a icon can be up to 256x256 pixels whereas in XP, icons can only be a maximum of 32x32 pixels.
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. Icons on the taskbar or on windows can't be changed.
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and My Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Properties", click the tap "Desktop", then choose "Customize Desktop...". In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

Windows Vista
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. Icons on the taskbar or on windows can't be changed.
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Personalization", click the link "Change desktop icons" on the menu to the left. In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

Windows 7
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. In Windows 7, you can also change the icons on the taskbar too, only if they're pinned. Icons on windows can't be changed.
The folder which keeps the shortcuts on the taskbar is located at %AppData%MicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick LaunchUser PinnedTaskBar, paste that in the adsress bar and you'll be taken to that folder. Here, you can change the icons on the programs that are
pinned.
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Personalization", click the link "Change desktop icons" on the menu to the left. In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

Windows 8
These icons can only replace shortcuts for programs/files. These shortcuts can be placed on to the desktop, in folders or in the Start Menu. In Windows 8, you can also change the icons on the taskbar too, even if they're not pinned. Icons on windows can't be changed.
Changing an icon for a program in the Start Menu will change this icon in both the Start Menu and on the taskbar. Shortcuts for the programs are placed in the hidden folder %WinDir%ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsStart Menu and %AppData%MicrosoftWindowsStart Menu depending on if it's showed for all users or only you. (You can move all shortcuts from AppData too WinDir to aviod confusion and if you're the only user).
To change system desktop icons like Recycle Bin and Computer, right click on the desktop and choose "Personalization", click the link "Change desktop icons" on the menu to the left. In the new window, click on a icon and choose "Change icon...".

How to change an icon
To change a icon on a shortcut, right click on a shortcut and choose "Properties". In the new window choose "Change Icon...". In the new window, at the top, a button is labled "Browse...", click on that. Browse to the folder where you put these icons, and choose your icon. Then press "OK" on both windows and the shortcut should have the new icon.
